Roles and responsibilities of AITECH Committee members
The roles and responsibilities of participating agencies are: Principal Member Agencies:- HUDCC - Gives final approval for issuance of accreditation certificate. The HUDCC Chairman affixes his signature on the certificate.
- DOST - Evaluates materials properties (physical, mechanical behavior, etc); and conducts research and development of new technologies.
- NHA - Evaluates applications based on checklist of requirements refers to evaluating agencies (UP-BRS, DOST, DPWH); evaluates and validates cost and structural designs; and consolidates evaluation results.
- HGC - Appraises housing unit
- UP-BRS - Evaluates structural designs, properties of building materials, and overall technical feasibility of technologies; and conducts information dissemination.
- DPWH - Evaluates structural designs and properties of building materials.
- HDMF - Reviews and accepts accredited technologies for mortgage financing under UHLP and HDMF housing loan programs.
- NHMFC - Reviews and accepts accredited technologies for mortgage financing under UHLP.
- CIAP - Disseminates information; and includes applicable technologies in the Modular Coordination System.
- HLURB - Evaluates technologies for compliance with housing standards based on BP 220/National Building Code.
- DTI-BP - Monitors quality of production through regular inspection of local production plants; and takes charge of patenting of technologies.
