NHA turns over 17 multicabs to resettlements

Seventeen Northville sites in Bulacan and Pampanga now have a better way of transporting relocated families not only during emergencies, but in their regular and official transactions with the communities and even in the provision of other health services with the signing of Deed of Transfer and Acceptance (DOTA) and the turn over of 17 multicabs by the National Housing Authority on January 4, 2011.

This is the first time in the history of the Authority that it has turned over multi-purpose transport vehicles in its relocation sites. Among the Northville sites in Bulacan that received the multicabs were NV3 -Meycauayan, NV 4, 4A, 4B – Marilao, NV5 – Bocaue, NV5A – Sta. Maria, NV6 – Balagtas, NV7 – Guiguinto, NV8 – Malolos, NV 9 – Calumpit, Towerville – City of San Jose del Monte and NV10 – Apalit, NV12 – Sto. Tomas, NV14 and NV14A – City of San Fernando, NV15 – Angeles and NV16 – Mabalacat, all in Pampanga.

Bulacan and Pampanga mayors along with their representatives and several Homeowners Associations (HOAs) came over the Main Office to sign the DOTA between the NHA under General Manager Atty. Chito M. Cruz and the Local Government Units (LGUs) and to claim the said multicabs. Blessing of the multicabs at the NHA parking lot followed after.

Mayor Isagani C. Pascual of Guiguinto, Bulacan, Calumpit, Bulacan Mayor James P. De Jesus and Mayor Reynaldo S. San Pedro of City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan and City of San Fernando, Pampanga Vice-Mayor Edwin D. Santiago personally attended the turn over ceremony.

The transfer of multicabs is pursuant to NHA Board Resolution No. 5195 dated September 10, 2009 and Board Resolution No. 5283 dated June 21, 2010.
