Board Approves
2011 Work Program and
Corporate Operating Budget
THE NHA Board of Directors headed by Vice President and Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council Chairperson Jejomar C. Binay approved the NHA Work Program and Corporate Operating Budget for 2011 thru Board Resolution No. 5322 dated May 17, 2011.
Under the resolution, the adoption of the Community Initiative Approach (CIA) for new and on-going NHA National Resettlement Projects specifically for informal settler families from the North Triangle Property, Diosdado Macapagal Tenement in Vitas, Tondo, and those affected by the August 2010 fire in Navotas will be implemented this year. An updated cost of allocation per family is set at Php215,000.00 for new resettlement projects under CIA.
Said Board Resolution also provides the Authority to implement other projects not specified in the Work Program provided that the funding requirement will not exceed budgetary provision for the capital outlay under the Board – approved Corporate Operating Budget subject to Board approval.
In the same resolution, General Manager Atty. Chito M. Cruz is authorized to sign, for in behalf of NHA all necessary agreements and documents for CIA implementation.
